Horse Mats Horse mats are one of our most popular products. Our stall mats cushion hooves, protect your floors, and are custom fit to your stalls. All matting is between 5/8" to 3/4" in thickness and our material comes with a 15 year guarantee. We offer two types of matting:
- Steel cable matting: Is made of industrial grade rubber reinforced with steel cable on the inside of the rubber (no steel cables are exposed). This material is excellent if there is no notching to be done around posts in the stalls. It lays nice, but is a bit heavier than fabric - so shipping costs may be slightly higher.
- Fabric reinforced matting: Industrial grade rubber reinforced with nylon plies. This material will outlast a pure rubber mat 3 times over. Fabric reinforced material is a good choice for stalls that have notching to be done, as the material can be cut to shape with a utility knife.
Cost for either is $1.75 per square foot.
